data preparation

When preparing your documents we aks you to keep this in mind:

- The format of the document should be according to the format of the print

- All colours apply in CMYK mode

- All fonts, also integrated typefaces, have to be converted to pathes or curves

- Delete nonessential pages, page elements and files

- Colour gradients have to be defined like images

 

When creating your pictures please care for the following:

- BMP data should be packed in LZW

- TIFF and EPS files have to apply in shade of grey or CMYK format

- RGB, Pict and Gif files are not usable

- Scans of pictures should have a resolution of 300 dpi

  (higher resolution is not effecting an increase of quality)

- Please contact us, if you intend to pack data to JPEG format

 

We use the following software programs:

- Corel Draw 12

- Adobe Photoshop, Windows PC

- Adobe Acrobat 

- Adobe InDesign

 

Mac files should be defined as Windows compatible files. Please store files using the special extensions. We need the fonts in Windows format. Otherwise store the letterings using curves.

Please contect us, if you want to use open program documents like InDesign or QuarkXPress files.

 

Quality control

Please send a colour proof for colour check. Preferable PDF-Files. On request we will supply you with a master proof (optional).
